This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give permission and police protection to conduct cultural program (Music and Dance) to be held on 07.04.2018 at 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., during the temple festival of Arulmigu Pampalamman Thirukovil situated at Maniyarampatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.04.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has made a representation on 02.04.2018 with the aforesaid prayer. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that earlier there was a dispute regarding conduct of festival and therefore, a criminal case was also registered. He further submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, by taking note of the earlier antecedents. 5.Considering the above submissions made on either side, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 07.04.2018. In the event of granting permission to the petitioner to conduct the festival, the respondent authorities are directed to follow the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No. 13517 of 2017 dated 24.07.2017. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
