This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 6 for illegally changing the classification of revenue records from Government Poramboke Kattukuthagai land (fl;Lf;Fj;jif epyk;) converted into patta land in S.Nos.342/2B, 340/2 at Meelavittan Part-I Village, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District, in the light of proceedings of the first respondent in D.O.Lr.No.K1/29575/2013 dated 19.03.2019, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 4 to 6 have illegally changed the classification of the revenue records from Government Poramboke Kattukuthagai lands in Survey Nos.342/2B, 340/2, to patta lands in favour of one Illayaperumal, Ganapathy, Shanmugam, Manickam, Sankaran on 11.09.2021, after getting illegal gratification. Hence, the petitioner has made a detailed representation on 3/7
23.11.2022 to the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 6. However, no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.11.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.11.2022, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of 4/7
receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
