Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to pay 18 percent interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits of P.F., Gratuity and Unavailed Leave Salary, payable to the petitioner from the date of his retirement i.e., 31-05-2018 to till the date of actual payment made to him i.e., 19-09-2019 and all other attendant benefits within the stipulated period. Though the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-Corporation made a submission that the order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with and the amount https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD) No.406 of 2021 due to the petitioner has been settled, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner raised an objection by stating that certain portion of interest is yet to be settled. In this regard, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority for the redressal of his grievances. However, the contempt petition need not be kept pending unnecessarily, as the direction issued by this Court is for settlement of terminal benefits and calculation or otherwise, if objected, to be redressed in accordance with the procedures.
