ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner in appropriate post as per the selection list published, by considering his representation dated 25.01.2019.

2. Mrs. K.Mu. Muthu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notices for the respondents.

3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he was selected as Junior Training Officer in the interview conducted by the respondent and the same was published, so far he was not issued with appointment order like that of other candidates. Hence, he has sent a representation dated 25.01.2019 to the respondent, the same has not been considered so far. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

5. At the time of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though a larger relief is sought for in the Writ Petition, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2019, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, has no objection.

6. Considering the limited nature of the prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which has been agreed upon by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2019, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
