PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 844 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /sole who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.07.2022 for the offences under sections 302,364 of IPC in Crime No.844 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein murdered the deceased Kalaiselvi @ Selvi Dalmiapuram on 11.07.2022. The case came to be registered based on the complaint given by the Village Administrative Officer under section 174 of Cr.P.C and after investigation the case has been altered to section 302 of IPC.

4. Though it is a case of circumstantial evidence there are 11 injuries in the body of the deceased and there are materials available to prosecute the petitioner with the crime. That apart the petitioner also married three women and thereafter he had intimacy with the deceased. The deceased is a road side bangle vendor. Utilizing the said circumstances after intimacy he had murdered the deceased brutally. Further Investigation has been completed and final report filed before the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Trichy and the same has been taken cognizance in S.C. No.171 of 2022. Now PW.1 was examined on 09.03.2023 and at this juncture the petitioner is released on bail he will tamper the witnesses, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed with a direction to the trial court namely the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Trichy to complete the trial in S.C. No.171 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible preferably with in a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
