O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.03.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits the petitioner is residing in Chennai, due to his job. Hence, the petitioner has given a general power in respect of two survey numbers to his elder brother. By using the same, the petitioner's brother and sisters have jointly executed forged documents in their names in respect of other properties and also sold the same to the third parties. Hence the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner filed the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the enquiry discloses https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
