ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the 1/4

investigation in Crime No.512 of 2023 and to file the charge sheet within a stipulated time.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 25.11.2023, the petitioner's house was broken open and gold jewels weighing about 24 sovereigns and silver articles weighing about 500 grams and other valuable items were found stolen.

3. The Investigating Officer, who is present before this Court, submits that finger print was collected from the place of occurrence, but, it was not matched with any other accused's finger print. The Police suspects that the close relative of the petitioner/defacto complainant might have committed the offence. But, the petitioner as well as her relatives did not co-operate for investigation.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that CCTV footage is available with the petitioner and that may be helpful for the investigation.

5. Therefore, the Investigating Agency is directed to recover the CCTV footage if any available with the petitioner and conclude the investigation.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
