O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent not to harass the petitioner further without following the due settled procedure of law forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioners state that a complaint has been lodged by a relative of the petitioner, namely, one Ajmalan, for missing jewels. Since the said Ajmalan suspected the involvement of the petitioners in the offence, it appears that the complaint has been lodged by him https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pointing out the petitioners as accused.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners state that the second respondent under the guise of enquiry is harassing the petitioners, suspecting them.

5. The petitioners may be called for any enquiry in relation to the complaint only by issuing summons and in the manner prescribed in law. If the allegations constitute an offence, the respondents can proceed, however, there shall not be any harassment to the petitioners.

6. With the above observations, the Criminal Original petition is closed.
