ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.6 of 2017, dated 07.04.2017, on the file of the respondent and file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the individual and the same was registered in Crime No.6 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 120(b), 406, 423, 467, 468, 471 and 506(i) IPC. It is was represented that after registering the case, there was no progress in the investigation and hence, the petitioner has approached this Court for expediting the investigation, so that the final report can be filed earlier. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the complaint itself was closed on 04.10.2017 and a copy of the closure report was also served to the petitioner, namely, the de-facto complainant.

5.Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is closed. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the learned counsel for the petitioner in the course of day.
