O R D E R

The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to secure his wife namely., Uma.

2. The specific stand of the respondents 1 and 2 is that the petitioner's wife had run away from the petitioner's house and she is now with the third respondent. It is true that the third respondent also a married person. But it is not the first time. Even on an earlier occasion this has happened. The second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.4216 of 2020 respondent had then registered Crime No.194 of 2019 and restored the petitioner's wife to him.

3. Since this appears to be a case of running away and elopement, I am of the view that this Court can do nothing . The police cannot be directed to run after the runaway wife.

4. With these observations, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
