This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2016.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the de facto complainant and gave a complaint as against the three accused persons and the same was registered in Crime No.2 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 120(b), 420,465,467,468 and 471 of IPC. Though the complaint was registered on 02.03.2016, it is stated that there is no further progress and the investigation was not done, despite, the petitioner produced several materials.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, however, on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the respondent is likely to file a final report within a short time.
4. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to expedite / complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
