O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. It appears that the petitioner's husband, namely, the

fourth respondent has given a complaint stating that the petitioner is missing and her whereabouts are not known. Though the fourth respondent seems to have filed a complaint, the petitioner without even appearing for an enquiry has approached this Court with this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that only a notice is issued for an enquiry and the petitioner without appearing before any of the respondents has approached this Court unnecessarily, as if there is harassment.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with any enquiry. However, if the petitioner appears before the third respondent for any enquiry, there shall not be any harassment.

6. With the above observation, the Criminal Original petition is closed.
