O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.181 of 2014 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that final report has already been filed on 07.06.2014 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, and it is yet to be taken on file. He further submitted that final report was earlier returned and the same was re-presented after complying with the defects.

4. In such circumstances, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent herein to see that the final report is taken on file within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original petition is closed.
