PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the C.C.No.54 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, quash the same as against the petitioners. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the C.C.No.54 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai and quash the same as against the petitioners.

2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings as prayed by the petitioners. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, considering the year of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, is directed to dispose of the case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The personal appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with, except the dates of hearing, on which, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, insisted upon the petitioners to appear before the Court.
