PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to sub divide and transfer the patta in respect of the petitioner property comprised in S.No.79-2B and S.No.79-1A comprised situated at nathampanni Village, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's on-line application dated 31.12.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to sub divide and transfer the patta in respect of the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.79-2B and S.No.79-1A, situated at nathampanni Village, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the petitioner's on-line application dated 31.12.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.J.Vishnu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Sethuraman, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.Today when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's application dated 31.12.2019 has been considered and the same has been rejected by the second respondent, on 22.07.2020. The copy of the said rejection order has also been placed before this Court to that effect. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition and prays before this Court that the writ petition ought to be dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.4734 of 2020 4.Since the petitioner's application has been considered by the second respondent, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The copy of the rejection order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if he is so advised. No costs.
