2. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, Learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents.

3. This Writ Petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to respondents to grant permission as also to provide police protection to conduct 'Vadamadu Manjuvirattu' on 14.04.2018 in pursuant to Tamil New Year - Chithirai 1st day at Malathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's representation, dated 06.04.2018.

4. The case of the petitioner is that for conducting Vadamadu Manjuvirattu event in petitioner's village during Tamil New Year ie., Chithirai 1st day at Malathaniyam Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, he made a representation on 06.04.2018 before respondents. For considering such representation by respondents, petitioner has filed the present Writ petition.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader seeks time towards consideration of the representation.

6.Without going into the merits of the case and recording the above submission of learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition shall stand disposed of, with a direction to respondents to consider the representation of petitioner, dated 06.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
