This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking direction to the respondents The Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Chennai, The Superintendent of Wakf, Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Trichy and The Inspector of Wakfs, Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, Pudukkottai to pass some orders on the representation dated 21.02.2020.

2.Mr.S.A.Ajmal Khan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the representation was received by the respondents on 22.12.2019. The representation mentioned in the writ petition, dated 21.02.2020 is denied as either having been sent by the petitioner or received by the respondents. At any rate, the subject matter in both the representations dated 22.12.2019 and 21.02.2020 are similar. Since there is a denial of receipt of the representation dated 21.02.2020, the respondents may, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after making due process and enquiry as required, pass orders with reasons on the representation dated 22.12.2019 on or before 03.04.2020. During the enquiry, if it is necessary, the petitioner may produce any documents to substantiate his claim.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
