Prayer : Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.10.2018, 11.04.2019 which relating to issuance of Death Certificate of the petitioner's grandfather, within the stipulated time which may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.10.2018, 11.04.2019 which relating to issuance of Death Certificate of the petitioner's grandfather, within the stipulated time which may be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.R.Navadeepan, the petitioner appeared in person and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner appeared in person submitted that, his grandfather one S.Santhanam died on 17.01.1985. Therefore, he wants a death certificate to that effect and he has made a representation to that effect to the respondent on 30.10.2018 and if the same is directed to be considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed, within a time frame, the petitioner, who appeared in person, would be satisfied. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader, who would submit that, the said request of the petitioner dated 30.10.2018 would be considered by the respondent on merits and an order to that effect with regard to grant of death certificate of the grandfather of the petitioner would be passed, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.Considering the said submission made by both sides, this writ petition is disposed of with the following direction: The respondent is hereby directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2018 and pass orders thereon, with regard to his grievance of death certificate of his grandfather, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
