O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the notice issued by the fourth respondent, whereby the writ petitioners were informed that an inspection of the subject property would be conducted on 09.02.2026.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the fourth respondent, on the basis of written instructions, submitted that complaints were received from the villagers alleging that the petitioners had encroached upon a public pathway. In order to verify the said allegation, the fourth respondent proposed to conduct an inspection. However, due to resistance on the part of the writ petitioners, the inspection could not be carried out on 09.02.2026.

3. In view of the above facts, the fourth respondent is entitled to conduct an inspection for the purpose of verifying the allegation of encroachment. The petitioners are bound to cooperate with such inspection. In the absence of any legal infirmity in the notice issued for inspection, this Court does not find any merit in the writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
