O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to promote the petitioner as Assistant Executive Engineer from the date on which the 2nd respondent was promoted as Assistant Executive Engineer with all monetary benefits within time as stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner has approached this Court for a mandamus, directing the respondent to promote him on par with the second respondent. However, Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his representation submitted to the first respondent dated 06.02.2017 shall be considered and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law after affording reasonable opportunity to both the petitioner as well as the second respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
