O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in respect of the First Information Report in Crime No.146 of 2017, dated 17.05.2017 and to file final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukottai District within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and after receiving the Wound Certificate, the final report is likely to be filed within fifteen days.

4. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
