O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry, on the basis of the complaint lodged by one Gayathri, W/o.Dineshkumar, on the basis of the representation submitted by the first petitioner herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is stated that the first petitioner is the husband of the third respondent and that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the third respondent, the second respondent is harassing the petitioners.

4. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the third respondent has already filed a petition in D.V.O.P.No.15 of 2017 for certain reliefs under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. It is therefore stated that the complaint lodged by the third respondent is only to harass the petitioners and that the third respondent has unnecessarily given the complaint.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor however on instructions submitted that the complaint itself was closed on 06.08.2017. It is therefore submitted that there is no harassment, as no further enquiry is contemplated.

6. Recording the said statement, the Criminal Original petition is closed.
