PRAYER : Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to direct the learned District Munsif, Tiruchendur to expedite the disposal of the above E.P.No.2 of 2025 in O.S.No.96 of 2018 on his file within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Tiruchendur, to dispose of the case in E.P.No.2 of 2025 in O.S.No.96 of 2018, within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.This Court, vide order, dated 19.02.2026, had directed the learned District Munsif, Tiruchendur, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending cases and in compliance of the same, the learned learned District Munsif, Tiruchendur, had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No.192/2026, dated 26.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2005 to 2026. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 598 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2025 is 166.

3.Since the present case is of the year 2025, the learned District Munsif, Tiruchendur, is directed to dispose of the case in E.P.No.2 of 2025 in O.S.No. 96 of 2018, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible

within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
