The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to promote the petitioner to the post of Junior Draftsman in the office of the fifth respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a 2/5
direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
