O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the the learned Principal District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel to dispose of the case in C.C.No.249 of 2012 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. It appears that the petitioner has filed a private complaint and the same was entertained in C.C.No.249 of 2012 and pending on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel. It is contended by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the criminal case is pending and the same has been dragged on due to the non co-operation of the accused.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances narrated by the petitioner in this case, this Court is of the view that suitable direction can be given to the lower Court to dispose of the proceedings. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the learned Principal District Munsif-Cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel is directed to complete the trial and dispose of C.C.No.249 of 2012 pending on its file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
