ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for R1 to R4.
2. The petitioner states that minority of devotees including the 5th respondent herein are creating trouble on the eve of the Maha Sivarathiri function. It is stated that the matter was amicably resolved earlier and that the authorities must be mandated to ensure that the compromise terms are adhered to. .
3. I am not persuaded to issue any direction. If there is any issue regarding management or conduct of the festival, the parties will have to resolve their differences elsewhere. The revenue authorities as well as the police authorities will have to keep away. Of-course, if any law and order issue arises, the authorities will definitely step in. If any cognizable offence is 2/4
committed, FIR will be registered. The revenue authorities are at liberty to invoke their power under the provisions of Cr.P.C. Unless such a stage arises, the authorities will have to keep away.
