PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying, to direct the Respondents not to interfere in the privacy and peaceful life of the Petitioners.

O R D E R
The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners were arrayed as accused in Crime No.42 of 2013, in which there were 16 persons as accused. This was the case regarding murder of one Manikandan and Krishnan. After due investigation, the final report was laid before the Court concerned. Subsequently, it was numbered as SC.No.131 of 2014 and after due trial, the case ended in acquittal as per judgment dated 19.06.2017. After the judgment of acquittal, the Respondents are calling the Petitioners at odd hours and disturbing the peace in the family of the Petitioners. Therefore, they were forced to file this Petition seeking direction against the Respondents not to interfere with the peaceful existence and privacy of the Petitioners.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the Respondents, submits that all the accused involved in SC.No.131 of 2014 are the history sheeter. To the summons issued by the fourth Respondent, the Petitioners had given an undertaking that they will approach the Senior Police Officer on 14.01.2024. Based on the undertaking given by the Petitioners, the fourth Respondent closed the current paper. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners and the Government Advocate (Crl.side) that after the acquittal in SC.No. 131 of 2014, there had not been any fresh case registered against the Petitioners, the Respondents are directed not to harass the Petitioners calling them at odd hours and disturbing their family members.
