2.Pownraj 3.Muthuraj ..Respondents PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to grant adequate and effective protection to the petitioner for his enjoyment of his lands bearing Survey No. 159/9 to an extent of 1 acre and 14 cents, Survey No. 2/1 to an extent of 65 cents, Survey No. 2/4 to an extent of 34 cents, Survey No.2/5 to an extent of 38 cents, Survey No.2/7 to an extent of 27 cents, Survey No.2/8 to an extent of 29 cents, Survey No. 2/6 to an extent of 1 acre 20 cents out of 1 acre 86 cents and Survey No. 3/4 to an extent of 97 cents out of 1 acre 94 cents, all forming a single unit and situated in Puliyankulam village Virudhunagar Taluk and District from the interference at the instance of the respondents 2 and 3 or any other members of their family by taking effective steps on the basis of the complaint dated nil of October, 2013, and 26.03.2014 made to the first respondent herein, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This direction petition is filed to grant adequate and effective protection to the petitioner for his enjoyment of his lands bearing Survey No. 159/9 to an extent of 1 acre and 14 cents, Survey No. 2/1 to an extent of 65 cents, Survey No. 2/4 to an extent of 34 cents, Survey No.2/5 to an extent of 38 cents, Survey No.2/7 to an extent of 27 cents, Survey No.2/8 to an extent of 29 cents, Survey No. 2/6 to an extent of 1 acre 20 cents out of 1 acre 86 cents and Survey No. 3/4 to an extent of 97 cents out of 1 acre 94 cents, all forming a single unit and situated in Puliyankulam village Virudhunagar Taluk and District from the interference at the instance of the respondents 2 and 3 or any other members of their family by taking effective steps on the basis of the complaint dated nil of October, 2013, and 26.03.2014 made to the first respondent herein, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to him and enjoyment of his lands through a complaint dated 26.03.2014. Now, 4-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous. 3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
