The writ petition is filed seeking mandamus to grant ordinary leave for a period of 30 days to the petitioner's brother Sundaravel, who is a life convict confined in Palayamkottai Central Prison.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents states that the request of the petitioner has been considered and the same has been rejected by the Government vide proceedings No.222/cj2/2025, dated 21.02.2025.
4.Since the representation been considered and orders been passed, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition seeking Mandamus. Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if so advised. No costs.
