Heard Mr.M.Dineshkaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.Porkodai Kannan, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2.By consent, Writ Petition itself, is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner seeks for an issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to consider his representation dated 28.02.2018 and provide retirement benefits.

4.Since the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, no positive direction could be issued to grant pension. However, it is seen that the representation has been given on 16.04.2018, which is now pending consideration by the respondents. Hence, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
