The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from permitting the third respondent to participate in any of the Boards, Committees, and Councils of the CSI Tirunelveli Diocese till the completion of denova enquiry ordered in W.P. (MD).968 of 2021, dated 27.01.2022.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought in the present writ petition in WP(MD)No.4405 of 2022 is a part of the relief sought in WP. (MD).No.8637 of 2022. At the time of the admission of the case in WP. (MD)No.8637 of 2022, on 18.07.2022, this Court passed the following order:- "Status quo shall be maintained and any proceedings relating to appointment, posting, transfer, etc., will be subject to the result of the writ petition".

In view of the pendency of the writ petition in WP.(MD).No.8637 of 2022, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
