.. Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondent Police to conduct proper investigation and to file final report in the case in Crime No.248 of 2015 dated 26.05.2015 pending on the file of the respondent within a stipulated time.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct proper investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.248 of 2015, within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of one year from the date of registration of the case, the respondent Police did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after investigation, the final report has been filed as mistake of fact.

5.Since the learned counsel for the petitioner reported that no such report is received by the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate undertakes to serve a copy of the closure report to the learned counsel for the petitioner. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
