ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the first respondent vide his proceeding in Na.Ka.No. 789/2021/m5, dated 08.03.2021 and quash the same as illegal consequently, directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner and his people to conduct Annadhanam, Dramas and Arulvakku events on the eve of Mahashivrathiri festival on 10.03.2021 and 11.03.2021 at Sri Karthikeyayini Amman Temple at Koothoor Village, Vettanur Post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, (i.e., 19.02.2024), the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would 2/4
submit that the prayer relates to the Mahashivarathiri festival scheduled on 10.03.2021 and 11.03.2021, is already over and hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
