This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent Anna University to forbear from disturbing the petitioner from his employment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University College of Engineering, Nagercoil.

University would submit that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was absorbed as Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, University College of Engineering, Nagercoil with effect from 01.08.2012 (F.N.), vide order dated 16.11.2022.

3. In view of the above, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation for receiving the monetary benefits. No costs.
