illegal and consequently direct to the 2nd respondent to issue the legal heir certificate of deceased Medaiyandi Son of Muthuirulappa Thevar based on the petitioners application in TN- 7202412091802, dated 09.12.2024 the petitioner and other legal within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Honble Court.

O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the rejection order passed by the second respondent regarding the issuance of legal heir certificate of deceased Medaiyandi and for a consequential direction to the second respondent to issue a legal heir certificate, by considering the petitioner's application in TN- 7202412091802, dated 09.12.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that after the death of his father, he applied for the issuance of a death certificate through Application No. TN-7202412091802 on 09.12.2024. However, the second respondent rejected the application, stating that the "wife of the deceased remarried" and that during the enquiry, the legal heirs of the deceased were not clearly identified. Aggrieved by this rejection, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner for the issuance of a legal heir certificate will be processed in accordance with law and a decision will be made within one month.

5. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
