Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the Detention Order passed by the second respondent in Detention Order datd 5.2.2021 in Detention Order in P.D.No.11 of 2021, and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu namely, Rajapandi, son of Pandeeswaran, aged about 20 years before this Court and set him at liberty, now detained at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the Uncle of the detenu, namely, Rajapandi, son of Pandeeswaran, aged about 20 years, challenging the detention order in P.D.No.1 of 2021, dated 5.2.2021, passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Drug Offender" as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the State appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.1723, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 15.04.2021, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submission, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
