ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 341 & 506(ii) IPC and Section 3(1) of the TNPPDL Act, 1992 in Crime Nos.114 & 115 of 2018. The petitioners are said to have damaged the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation bus. The total value of the damage is to the tune of Rs.10,000/-.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners undertakes to remit the value of the damage to the concerned Transport Corporation directly.
3.As per the above said undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioners, after remitting the amount, the receipt shall be produced before the Jurisdictional Court at the time of surrender. Subject to the above said condition, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.
4.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
