RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to Pass an order by extending the time granted by this Honourable Court by its order in CRL OP(MD)No.15787 of 2020 dated 07.01.2021 for further period of two weeks.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.RADHAKRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners' surrender and execute sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No.15787 of 2020, dated 07.01.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.15787 of 2020 and one of the condition is that each of the petitioners have to draw a demand draft in favour of the Dean, Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai, for a sum of Rs.15,000/- within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The petitioners were unable to mobilize the fund and to execute the sureties. He further submitted that on 09.03.2021 they had taken a Demand Draft in favour of the Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai and the same has also been received and acknowledged by the Administrative office of the said hospital. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

CRL MP(MD) No.2194 of 2021 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondent. 4.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioners before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and if the petitioners fail to comply with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioners and proceed in accordance with law. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. sd/- 16/03/2021 / TRUE COPY / / /2021 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
