The writ petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the Sub-Registrar, Karivalamvandanallur, to receive the sale deed in S.No.220/5C and S.No.223/3C of Part-II of Thenmalai Village, Duraisamiyapuram Panchayat, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, without insisting on the production of the original sale deed in Doc.No.2785/2014, dated 10.09.2014.

When the matter came up for admission, Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent has produced written instructions from the respondent in Na.Ka.No.31/2025, dated 25.02.2025. In the written instructions, it is stated that the document will be registered without insisting upon the original following the verdict of this Court in P.Pappu Vs., The Sub-Registrar in W.A.No.1160 of 2024, dated 27.09.2024 and The Sub-Registrar, Rasipuram Vs., P.Pappu in Special Leave to Appeal (c) No.(s)2344/25, dated 03.02.2025.

3. Since the Sub-Registrar has given an undertaking that she will register the document without insisting upon the originals, this Writ Petition is disposed of recording the statement of the Sub-Registrar, Karivalamvanthanallur.
