Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to clear the petitioner's file regarding the passport and subsequently directing the first respondent to reopen the petitioner's file for the renewal of Passport, application No.MA3077363997313 as narrated in the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2018 and to issue the passport within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

Today when the matter was called, the learned Additional Solicitor General, on instructions, submitted that they have no objection to issue passport, requested by the petitioner, which has been communicated in an internal communication dated 07.03.2018 by the second respondent to the first respondent. 2.Recording the submission, the Writ Petition stands allowed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the first respondent, seeking for necessary passport and on such approach, the first respondent shall take appropriate action to issue a passport in favour of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
