PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to give free land patta to the Petitioner for the Natham Prampoku Land in S.No.608/1, situated at south side foot hills of Sirumalai, Varithiuppu Main Road, Siruvillputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District on the basis of the petitioner is a HIV Patient. It is pointed out by the Learned Government Advocate for the Respondents that the Petitioner cannot claim free land patta for a particular survey number occupied by him citing his health condition. W.P.(MD)No.4780 of 2020 seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to make application in any scheme for allotment of house for homeless persons, if he is otherwise eligible, and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. No costs.
