Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct "Aadalum Padalum" scheduled to be held on 06.06.2019 from 08.00 PM for Shri Kaliyamman and Puthuman Amman Temple Festival situated at Nagalapuram, Vizhathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct "Aadalum Padalum" scheduled to be held on 06.06.2019 from 08.00 PM for Shri Kaliyamman and Puthuman Amman Temple Festival situated at Nagalapuram, Vizhathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2019.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the "Aadalum Padalum
Programme" on 06.06.2019 in connection with the above said temple festival, the petitioner made a representation on 29.05.2019 to the third respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
