ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is, to direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on his representation dated 04.05.2019.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner's representation seeking for appointment to him on compassionate grounds, due to the demise of his mother, while she was in service, has not been acted upon by the official respondents, he is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner has submitted his application within the time period of three years, the same would be considered by the respondents on merits, within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.05.2019 on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
