This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to return the driving license of the petitioner bearing D.L.No.TN 45-19950004111 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent has produced the original records which include an order of the Regional Transport Officer dated 16.05.2019 suspending the license of the petitioner for a period of six months commencing on 19.04.2019 till 18.10.2019. 4.The learned Government Advocate is directed to furnish a copy of the said order to the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as serve the same upon the petitioner to enable him to take action, in regard to the same in accordance with law.
