PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records in Crime No.20 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same as illegal, in so far as this petitioners is concern.

ORDER
The petitioners / Accused Nos.2 & 3 have filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.20 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Woman Police Station, Karaikudi District, wherein they were said to have committed offence under Sections 498(A) and 406 IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the marriage was solemnized between the first accused and defacto complainant is 12.12.2018. The first accused has started the matrimonial life with defacto complainant. The defacto complainant's husband after went to the abroad, her husband's family members tortured the defacto complainant stating that her family members cheated them by not giving dowry. Hence, the defacto complainant preferred a complaint before the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.20 of 2020 for the above said offence and to quash the same, the petitioners filed this petition.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2020 has been completed and
charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi.
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners work out their remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
