Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme i.e., Adal Padal Dance Programme on 06.06.2019 at 7.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar, Sri Muthalamman, Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Pattalamman Thirukoil at Chinnalapatti, Aathoor Taluk, Dindigul District. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 06.06.2019 in connection with festival of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar, Sri Muthalamman, Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Pattalamman Thirukoil situated at Chinnalapatti, Aathoor Taluk, Dindigul District.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 06.06.2019 in connection with the festival of the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 29.05.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
