O R D E R
This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Pattiveeranpatti Police Station, Dindigul District, the 2nd respondent herein, not to harass and force the petitioner to stand as an approver in connection with the case in S.C.No.24 of 2018 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, Dindigul District.
2.According to the petitioner, the second respondent is threatening the petitioner to stand as an approver in connection with the case in S.C.No.24 of 2018. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent requesting to take action on the second respondent, on 23.03.2018. Since no action is taken, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) filed a status report, as per direction of this Court, stating that the aforesaid case in S.C.No.24 of 2018 is pending against the petitioner and other accused persons on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Dindigul at the stage of trial. Hence, there is no question of harassing the petitioner at the hands of the respondent police. Therefore, the said contention of the petitioner is denied by the respondent police as untrue. 4.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
