2. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, Learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents.
3. This Writ Petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to consider the representation of petitioner, dated 19.02.2018 and initiate necessary steps to repair the bridge at Sobanapuram subject to the jurisdiction of State Highways Department and convert the three vent way bridge into that of single vent way bridge, which serves as feeder channel to the Venkatachalapuram Lake, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.

The case of the petitioner is that to repair the bridge at Sobanapuram subject to the jurisdiction of State Highways Department and convert the three vent way bridge into that of single vent way bridge, which serves as feeder channel to the Venkatachalapuram Lake, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, he made a representation on 19.02.2018 before respondents. For considering such representation by respondents, petitioner has filed the present Writ petition.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader seeks time towards consideration of the representation.
6.Without going into the merits of the case and recording the above submission of learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition shall stand disposed of, with a direction to respondents to consider the representation of petitioner, dated 19.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and proceed further in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The outcome of the representation of the petitioner may be intimated by the respondents to him. No costs.
