This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give police protection for the petitioner to receive the honour on the Eve of Sri Muniyandi Temple Festival at Thiruvathavoor on 07.06.2019, based on his representation dated 17.05.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking police protection to receive the honour on the Eve of Sri Muniyandi Temple Festival at Thiruvathavoor on 07.06.2019, the petitioner made a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation on 17.05.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.05.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
