ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as accused No.3 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.1339 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that one Meenakshi Sundaram lodged a complaint with the respondent police alleging that the first accused is Stephen @ Kasiviswanathan and his wife Uma James received Rs.3 lakhs from the de-facto complainant on 22.11.2011, assuring to get a Government job, they failed to do so. It is further alleged that the cheque issued by the said Stephen @ Kasiviswanathan for Rs.1,50,000/- was dishonoured on 10.04.2014 and thereafter, the de-facto complainant lodged a complaint against the said Stephen @ Kasiviswanathan to the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station on 02.05.2014 and thereafter, he paid Rs.50,000/- to the de-facto complainant.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and absolutely there is no allegation against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
